Earnest & Friends Summer Horse CampAn Equine Literacy & Confidence Program at STAT®

What to Expect After Submitting the Application:
Once your application is received, a staff member will contact you by phone or email to schedule a brief screening call. This helps us ensure that STAT®’s programs are the right fit for your child; if a participant’s needs are better met elsewhere, we may suggest a more appropriate program.
If accepted, guardians will receive a secure portal link through STAT®’s Theranest system to create an account, sign consent and waiver forms electronically, and submit program fee payment. Because many of our programs include outcome measurements, participants may also be asked to complete brief, anonymous surveys. These surveys help us improve our services and demonstrate the effectiveness of our programs.
There an application fee and a program fee
STAT® Inc. is a nonprofit charity supported primarily through grants and donations. While grants help cover some expenses, they rarely include the day-to-day costs of caring for our horses, the cost of summer camps, or providing essentials for participants. Application and Program fees go directly toward program delivery—covering the cost of staff, horses (basic, medical, dental, supplement, and farrier needs), as well as snacks, water, and activity supplies for participants.
Providing high-quality equine-assisted services is costly, but we work hard to minimize expenses without ever compromising the care of our participants or our horses. Our dedicated staff often donate their time to give back to the community, too. This is how we are able to offer lower fees across the board.
