Jennifer is a member of the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario with 20 years of professional and lived experience in the world of neurodiversity. She provides individualized, neuroaffirming psychotherapy and psychological assessment services for adults, children, teens, and parents who identify as (or suspect they/a loved one may be) neurodiverse [e.g., autistic and/or presenting with ADHD, exceptional intellectual functioning such as "giftedness" or intellectual challenges, other learning differences]. Jennifer also supports children, youth, and adults in addressing anxiety, depressed mood, emotional regulation, excessive/problematic screen time, adjustment to change, social/interpersonal challenges, and/or difficulties related to productivity and executive functioning (e.g., motivation, time management, organization, self-regulation), disenfranchised grief and loss*, and/or climate-related concerns (in addition to her PhD in Clinical Psychology, Jennifer holds an Advanced Training Certificate in Ecopsychology). Grounded in an appreciation for biopsychosocial and neurological diversity, Jennifer draws on interpersonal processes and evidence-based approaches (e.g., cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, trauma-informed, and dialectical behaviour therapies; mindfulness-based stressed reduction) when collaborating with clients in support of their goals, always with their unique strengths and needs in mind. Jennifer is also interested in understanding and addressing (1) the impacts of record, increasing levels of screen/internet/AI use among youth and adults alike, and (2) how our (dis)connection to/from nature impacts our wellbeing.
