Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, PhD, PsyD) – 1099 Contractor
Location: Lakeland, FL / Hybrid (Telehealth)
Compensation: Tiered Fee Split (60% baseline scaling to 70% upon hitting $10k gross monthly revenue)
About Us: At Black Swan Counseling Services, LLC, we provide a dedicated, inclusive, and liberating space for healing. We are explicitly LGBTQ+, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), and kink affirming. Our practice specializes in providing deeply respectful, culturally competent care to individuals and relationship structures that are often underserved or misunderstood in traditional clinical settings. We provide the back-end infrastructure—including credentialing support, billing, and premium EHR access—while building community presence through local events and targeted social media marketing. We are currently seeking an autonomous, mission-aligned 1099 Contract Clinician to grow their caseload with us. and social media branding.
What We Are Looking For:
- Credentials: Must hold an active, unrestricted license to practice therapy in the state of Florida (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or licensed Psychologist). Unlicensed registered interns cannot be considered at this time.
- Affirming Competency: Demonstrated experience, advanced training, or deep clinical alignment with BIPOC, LGBTQ+, ethical non-monogamy, relational diversity, and kink-affirming therapeutic practices.
- Marketing Initiative: As a 1099 independent contractor, you actively drive your own direct client acquisition and referral streams, leveraging Black Swan's high-visibility social media brand and local event presences to amplify your personal marketing efforts.
- Clinical Autonomy: Fully comfortable managing your own caseload, clinical assessments, treatment plans, and documentation deadlines ethically.
- Contractual Requirements: Maintain individual active professional malpractice liability insurance ($1M/$3M limits). Secure, HIPAA-compliant private environment for telehealth sessions. Be willing to provide in person sessions at our office, as requested by clients.
